Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of vision and medical insurance plans.
Vision plans cover routine care and may have a benefit for eyeglasses and/or contact lenses. A routine examination covers a basic screening for eye diseases or conditions. However, they do not cover diagnosis, management, or treatment of eye conditions.
Medical insurance covers medical eye care (including cataracts, dry eye, diabetes, eye infections, eye injuries, floaters, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and plaquenil testing). Medical insurances do not cover materials (eyeglasses or contact lenses) or the refraction (how your prescription is determined).
If you do not see your insurance listed below, please give us a call. We would be happy to assist you and let you know if we are a provider for your plan.
